Quernstone Knitwear

At Quernstone Knitwear we design and make stylish, easy to wear women's knitwear.  This collection of tunics, cardigans and jackets is being shown in silk/lambswool using a range of twenty five colours. Our knitwear has been made in Orkney for more than 25 years with a highly skilled workforce who have been with us for many years.  Using our wide colour palette we can make a collection which is taylored exclusively to you and your shop.

  • Carousel medium jacket has a deep collar and double buttons.  It has one pocket and sleeve turnbacks in a contrast colour and features a back tab detail.  The jacket is fastened with double buttons.
  • Loop scarves in random stripes of three colours.  There are a huge number of combinations to fit with our knitwear and are also available in a single colour version.
  • Norna short tunic has a simple roll neckline and slanted side pockets.
  • Arizona short jacket has a stand up collar, one pocket and tapered sleeves.  It is one our original and most popular designs.
  • Norna short jacket has a soft roll back neckline and sloping pockets, with a tapered sleeve.
  • Mirage short jacket has a stand up collar, one pocket and tapered sleeves.  It is fastened with double buttons, mirroring the contrast stripes.  It can be made with either one or two contrast colours.
  • Carousel short tunic is standard width with turn back neckline and centre seam.  The sleeve turn back and pocket feature a contrast colour.
  • Carousel medium tunic is loose fitting with wide sleeves.  It features a contrast colour in the sleeve turn up and both pockets and has a centre seam in both front and back.
  • Firth medium length gilet with soft roll low neckline and two pockets.
  • Medium length waistcoat with drop shoulder and soft roll edging, no fastening.
